Gazzaoui Offshore, Iraq branch, proudly participated in the EU TVET Job Fair titled “Technical Skills for a Thriving Private Sector in Iraq”, held on 29 September 2025 at Abriz Hall in Baghdad. The event was organized in celebration of World Youth Skills Day and brought together leading private sector companies, educational institutions, and young professionals under one platform dedicated to empowering Iraq’s future workforce.

The job fair served as a dynamic meeting point between industry leaders and Iraqi youth, aiming to bridge the gap between education and employment. Through interactive engagement, participating companies showcased career opportunities, highlighted in-demand technical skills, and contributed to shaping sustainable employment pathways within the private sector.

Gazzaoui Offshore’s booth attracted strong interest from students and fresh graduates eager to learn more about career prospects within the engineering and electromechanical sectors. Our team had the opportunity to present Gazzaoui’s vision, values, and long-term commitment to Iraq, while engaging in meaningful discussions with aspiring professionals about future collaboration, training, and growth opportunities.

This participation reflects Gazzaoui’s ongoing dedication to supporting skills development, nurturing local talent, and contributing to the advancement of Iraq’s private sector through knowledge sharing and capacity building.

In parallel with this milestone, Gazzaoui Offshore is honored to announce that the Iraqi Engineers Union recognized Mr. Joe Karam, General Manager of Gazzaoui Iraq, with a prestigious award in appreciation of his significant contributions to the engineering field in Iraq.
